چکیده
از سال 1963 تا به امروز، کشور هندوستان گام‌به‌گام در مسیر طی‌شده توسط ثروتمندترین کشورهای جهان اقدام به سرمایه‌گذاری مستمر در برنامه‌های فضایی ملی خود کرده و به یکی از شش کشور پیشگام در عرصه استفاده از فضا بدل شده است. دهلی‌نو با انجام اکتشافات گسترده در فضای ماورای جو زمین به‌عنوان چهارمین فاتح کره ماه بعد از آمریکا، روسیه و چین شناخته می‌شود و ارسال انسان به فضا و احداث ایستگاه فضایی مستقل نیز در دستور کار سازمان فضایی این کشور قرار دارد، درحالی‌که بخش زیادی از جمعیت بیش از یک میلیارد و چهارصد میلیون نفری در این کشور با مشکلاتی مانند کمبود آب آشامیدنی سالم، دسترسی نداشتن به جاده، برق و نیز حتی سوءتغذیه شدید مواجه‌اند، ازاین‌رو مقاله حاضر تلاشی برای پاسخگویی به این پرسش است که چرا هندوستان به‌رغم درگیر بودن با مشکلات متعدد اقتصادی و دست به گریبان بودن با محدودیت جدی در تأمین منابع لازم برای حل‌وفصل این مشکلات، از سال 1963 تا به امروز گام‌به‌گام در مسیر طی‌شده توسط ثروتمندترین کشورهای جهان، اقدام به سرمایه‌گذاری مستمر در برنامه‌های فضایی ملی خود کرده است؟ در ادامه با اتکا بر رهیافت تلفیقی و استفاده از نظریه‌های اقتصاد، مدیریت، اقتصاد سیاسی و روابط بین‌الملل به روش استنتاج بهترین تبیین این نتیجه حاصل شده است که اساساً نه‌تنها هزینه‌های سرمایه‌گذاری در برنامه‌های فضایی برای کشوری مثل هندوستان به‌مراتب کمتر از عدم سرمایه‌گذاری در این عرصه بوده و در حقیقت نه به لحاظ سیاسی و نه اقتصادی جایگزین قابل قبولی برای آن قابل تصور نیست، بلکه بر اساس مسیر تجربه‌شده توسط هندوستان، فضا یکی از سودمندترین عرصه‌های سرمایه‌گذاری برای یک کشور در حال توسعه مثل هندوستان نیز بوده، هست و در آینده قابل پیش‌بینی نیز باقی خواهد ماند.
