| favorable with the Western-oriented attitude and the History of Iran Cambridge is a prominent example. The authors of the 7th volume of the Cambridge History of Iran briefly were reviewed the political and economic transitions of Iran during the Qajar and Pahlavi periods, without scientific and analytical explanation, and they passed by it descriptively.The important point was disregard their of British colonial policy in the political and economic transitions and foreign relations of Iran during the Qajar period and the Pahlavi dynasty. | ||

| ایران‌شناسی در غرب با وجود تأکید بر روش علمی، با نگرش غرب محوری هم‌سو بوده و تاریخ ایران‌کمبریج، نمونه برجسته آن است. نویسندگان جلد هفتم تاریخ ایران کمبریج، تحولات سیاسی و اقتصادی ایران دوره قاجاریه و پهلوی را مختصر و بدون تبیین علمی و تحلیلی بررسی نموده و به شکل توصیفی از کنار آن گذشتند. نکته مهم، چشم پوشی آنها از سیاست استعماری انگلیس، در تحولات سیاسی، اقتصادی و روابط خارجی ایران دوران قاجاریه و پهلوی بود. هدف اصلی پژوهش، تبیین نگرش تاریخ نگاری نویسندگان مذکور نسبت به تحولات تاریخ معاصر ایران است. مساله اصلی پژوهش این است که نویسندگان تاریخ ایران کمبریج چگونه به تطهیرسازی سیاست استعماری به ویژه انگلیس در تاریخ نگاری پرداخته اند؟در این پژوهش با روش توصیفی و تحلیلی تاریخی و با استناد به کتب معتبر تاریخی مساله اصلی تحقیق بررسی می‌گردد. نتیجه و دستاورد پژوهش نشان می‌دهد، نویسندگان جلد مذکور، در بررسی تحولات ایران با معیارهای علمی تاریخ نگاری موفق نبوده و با نگرش غرب محوری در صدد تطهیر استعمار به خصوص انگلیس بودند و تبیین و تحلیل تازه‌ای برای شناسایی این قسمت از تاریخ ایران ارائه نداده‌اند. | ||
