چکیده
هدف پژوهش حاضر مطالعه ارتباط بین غلظت پلاسمای هورمون‌های لپتین و تستوسترون خون در مراحل قبل و بعد از پیوبرتی بود. برای این منظور تعداد هشت راس گوساله نر نجدی با میانگین سنی هفت ماه استفاده گردید. از این گوساله‌ها سه مرحله قبل و بعد از رسیدن به بلوغ جنسی خون‌گیری به عمل آمد. در هر دوره خون‌گیری یک نمونه خون به منظور تعیین غلظت پلاسمایی هورمون لپتین از هر هشت راس و شش نمونه متوالی خون و به فواصل 20 دقیقه از چهار راس از این دام‌ها به منظور تعیین غلظت پلاسمایی هورمون تستوسترون جمع‌آوری شدند. نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که محدوده سن بلوغ در نژاد نجدی، 15-13 ماهگی و میانگین وزنی 91/36±08/120 کیلوگرم می‌باشد. غلظت پلاسمایی هورمون لپتین همبستگی منفی با هورمون تستوسترون (05/0P<، 43/0- r=)، سن (01/0P<، 77/0- r=)، وزن بدن (01/0P<، 39/0- r=)، محیط بیضه  (01/0P<، 62/0- r=) و ارتفاع بیضه (01/0P<، 72/0- r=) داشت. در کل می‌توان گفت با شروع پیوبرتی و افزایش غلظت تستوسترون، غلظت لپتین کاهش یافته که به دلیل اثر منفی تستوسترون بر تولید هورمون لپتین در بدن می‌باشد.
