چکیده
The laboratory mouse is recognized as the pre-eminent model for genetic research. Awareness of chromosomal patterns of experimental animals increases their value for a variety of different fields of study. We aimed to study mitotic chromosome preparations from NIH, C57BL/6 and Razi strains of mice, which are outbred, inbred and partially inbred laboratory mice respectively. Bone marrow cells were prepared from 36 male and female mice, 12 from each strain, and stained by use of Giemsa staining and G-banding methods. Karyotyping of the samples showed that there was no difference in chromosomal numbers among the three mice strains, also the metaphase preparations of their diploid cells contained 40 chromosomes (2n = 40) and all chromosomes were telocentric. However, some differences in band tonality and the size of chromosomes were seen.

چکیده [English]
موش آزمایشگاهی به عنوان حیوان آزمایشگاهی مدل برای مطالعات ژنتیکی پیشرفته شناخته شده است. اطلاع از تعداد و الگوی کروموزومی موش های مورد استفاده در تحقیقات می تواند باعث افزایش ارزش و دامنه تحقیقاتی آنها گردد. دراین مطالعه تعداد 216 اسلاید از سلول های دیپلوئید مغز استخوان 36 سر موش آزمایشگاهی ,NIH C57BL/6 و Razi که به ترتیب از نژادهای غیرهمخون, همخون و نیمه همخون می باشند تهیه گردید. تعداد حیوانات استفاده شده در هر نژاد، 12 سر شامل 6 سر ماده و 6 سر نر بود. پس از نمونه گیری، سلول های مرحله متافازی به روش رنگ آمیزی گیمسا و جی بندینگ مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. کاریوتایپینگ کروموزومی نمونه ها نشان داد تمامی سلول های مورد مطالعه، 40 کروموزومی(2n = 40) وتلوسنتریک می باشند و هیچ گونه اختلافی ازنظر تعداد و الگوی کروموزوم ها در بین حیوانات این سه نژاد وجود ندارد. با این حال تفاوت هایی در اندازه و رنگ پذیری برخی ازکروموزوم ها مشاهده گردید.
