| غربگرایی بیش از نیمقرن در سیاست خارجی ترکیه عنصری مهم بود و غرب آسیا در نگرش ژئوپلیتیکی این کشور اهمیت کانونی نداشت، اما در دو دهۀ اخیر شاهد حضور فعال و بهنسبت مستقل ترکیه در این منطقه بودهایم. در این نوشتار پرسش از چگونگی امکان چرخش در نگرش ژئوپلیتیک ترکیه به غرب آسیا از سال 2003 است. در پاسخ به این پرسش، این فرضیه مطرح میشود که بازتعریف هویت دولت در قالب نوعثمانیگرایی و بهدنبال آن، تغییر در منافع ملی، چرخش در نگرش ژئوپلیتیک ترکیه به غرب آسیا را امکانپذیر کرده است. چارچوب نظری استفادهشده در این نوشتار سازهانگاری موسوم به سطح واحد با تأکید بر نقش مقوم هویت برساختهشده در سطح داخلی است. برای تحلیل دادهها با تعدیلهایی از روش رهگیری فرآیند استفاده میکنیم و نشان میدهیم چگونه نوعثمانیگرایی بهعنوان عنصری هویتی به منافع ملی ترکیه شکل داده و به ارائۀ تفسیری جدید از ژئوپلیتیک ترکیه و نمودهای آن در سیاست خارجی در غرب آسیا منجر شده است. حمایتنکردن ترکیه از فشار تحریمی آمریکا علیه ایران، حضور فعال این کشور در بحران سوریه، حمایت از حماس و رویکرد کموبیش ضداسرائیلی اردوغان، مهمترین محورهای نشاندهندۀ تغییر در نگرش ژئوپلیتیک ترکیه هستند. | ||
