| چکیده | ||
| In sparsely populated cities, custom plays a prominent role in life matters because mechanical correlation is abundantly observed in such places and it affects the norms, values and social relations between the two sexes. The aim of this research is to analyze the mechanisms of legitimizing gender power from the perspective of women in the city of Eyvan within the framework of the family.This research is based on the interpretive paradigm and qualitative approach and has been conducted using the grounded theory method. The study field includes women in the city of Eyvan and a purposeful snowball sampling method has been used for sampling and sampling continued until theoretical saturation and 20 people were interviewed. A semi-structured interview has been used to collect information, the data format is in text format and three-stage open, axial and selective coding has been used in data analysis.From the semantic expressions, 233 concepts, 30 subcategories, and 13 main categories were obtained. The core category was named “The coexistence of religious and customary discourse,” meaning the coexistence of two types of customary-religious discourses that, when considered as references in society, can consolidate and strengthen the legitimization of gender power. Although this juxtaposition is seen relatively in all societies, given the ideologicalization of the discourse of religion in Iranian society (as a political ideology), this legitimization of gender power has doubled. | ||
