The purpose of this research was to identify the effective factors in the lifestyle of rural women to participate in sports activities. The research method is exploratory in terms of goal and qualitative in terms of method. The statistical population included experts in rural sports department, rural women active in sports, trainers and rural women athletes of Ardel Chaharmahal Bakhtiari city. For sampling, the snowball method was used in a targeted manner. The data was collected in the field and based on semi-structured interviews, and theoretical saturation was reached after conducting 17 interviews. The validity of the questions was confirmed by expert professors in the field of sports management, and the within-subject agreement method was used to calculate reliability. In order to analyze the data, descriptive statistics and foundational data theory methods were used according to Strauss and Corbin. Based on the results, a total of 112 open codes and 18 central codes were identified and finally, 6 main categories were created. The findings showed that individual, cultural and economic factors, while paying attention to intervening and background factors, can ultimately lead to health and well-being and the development of rural women's communication. Therefore, it is suggested to pay attention to the mentioned variables and by removing obstacles; To provide the necessary platforms and fields for the participation of rural women in sports activities.
The current research is exploratory and applied in terms of its purpose, and in terms of research method, it has a qualitative nature. The statistical population of this study included experts in the rural sports sector, rural women active in sports, trainers and rural female athletes; After being identified, if they volunteered to be interviewed, they were interviewed. In the current research, the snowball sampling method was used in a targeted manner and the sampling continued until the researchers reached theoretical saturation. This means that no new data was obtained from the interviews and the data became repetitive. Also, field method and semi-structured interview were used to collect data.
In this research, in order to analyze the data obtained from the interviews, the three-stage process of open, central and selective coding was used. The analysis process begins in this way that the researchers go through and read the typed interviews line by line regarding the feasibility of rural women's lifestyle to participate in sports activities and similar data that have the same meaning under common codes. They coded and classified and then assigned appropriate concepts to each of the classes. During this stage, which is called recoding, various and numerous categories were extracted in relation to the lifestyle of rural women to participate in sports activities; These concepts were adapted from the writings and in some cases the same writings, which created a total of 112 primary codes from a total of 17 interviews; Then, due to the plurality of similar codes, based on conceptual and semantic affinity, they were placed in their own group and reduced to 18 subcategories, and finally, based on the secondary open codes, 6 main categories were created. When the categories were formed, the researchers chose a category whose traces are visible in all the different parts of the data; This category, which is called the central category, was extracted under data-centered coding, and one can find the origin and root of all the discussions related to the lifestyle of rural women in order to participate in sports activities. . This work was done by using a paradigm model including causal conditions, phenomenon, context, intervening conditions, strategies and consequences.
Discussion and conclusion
According to the results of the research, the causal conditions affecting rural women's sports participation are divided into three cases: individual factors, cultural factors, and economic factors. Therefore, in explaining the results of the present research, it can be said that managers and officials should pay special attention to women's sports in all age groups and also to women's sports in villages. In this research, the intervening factors were financial (economic) factors, infrastructural factors, informational factors, and policy-making factors. Therefore, in explaining the results of this research, it can be pointed out that the lack of investment in women's sports in the village, as well as the lack of access to facilities and equipment and providing them in this group of the country's population, which constitutes half of the country's population It is very important to give. Based on the results of the research, the background factors were behavioral factors, preparatory factors, communication factors and human factors. Therefore, it can be said that background factors such as attention to physical fitness, psychological motivations, having enough time and opportunity, family support and the support of provincial and city managers can contribute to the development and progress of women's interest in sports and Participation in physical activities is effective. The results of this study show that the results can be checked in the two categories of communication development and health and wellness development. In explaining the results of this research, it can be said that the officials of the matter by providing suitable facilities for the villagers have created the ground for their participation as much as possible in the related activities.
