Diagnosis of Spinal Column Abnormalities by Image processing of Reflective Markers Set on Spinus Process

چکیده
The aim of the present study was to introduce a non-invasive method (image
processing) to measure lumbar lordosis and thoracic kyphosis. The advantages of
this method are fast measurement and no direct contact with the subjects. For this
purpose, 40 male students (age: 26±2 years old, weight: 72±2.5 kg, and height:
169±5.5 cm) volunteered to identify these advantages and the accuracy of the
suggested method. The lumbar lordosis and thoracic kyphosis of all subjects were
extracted and compared using the suggested method as well as the flexible ruler
method (control). Findings of this research were analyzed by descriptive statistics
and Pearson correlation coefficient. The results showed that the correlation of the
suggested and flexible ruler methods to measure lumbar lordosis and thoracic
kyphosis were 0.95 and 0.97 respectively. These results indicated that the
suggested method could be used effectively to measure lumbar lordosis and
thoracie kyphosis and was valid compared with the flexible ruler. So image
processing method can be used as a non-invasive method along with the other
methods.

در این تحقیق یک روش غیرتهاجمی جدید برای ارزیابی قوس های ستون فقرات ارائه شده است. از مزایای این روش، سرعت در فرایند اندازه گیری و عدم لمس بدن آزمودنی است. برای اثبات اینکه این دو مزیت روش پیشنهادی تأثیر منفی بر دقت اندازه گیری زوایای مربوط به قوس های پشتی و کمری نداشته است، مقادیر کیفوز پشتی و لوردوز کمری برای چهل نفر از دانشجویان دانشگاه بیرجند با میانگین و انحراف استاندارد سنی 2±26(سال)، وزن 5/2±72 (کیلوگرم) و قد 5/5 ± 169(سانتی متر) توسط روش پیشنهادی و همچنین روش پرکاربرد خط کش منعطف (به عنوان شاهد) استخراج و میزان همبستگی بین این دو روش از طریق ضریب همبستگی پیرسون محاسبه گردید. نتایج نشان داد که روش پیشنهادی و روش خط کش منعطف در اندازه گیری زوایای لوردوز کمری و کیفوز پشتی به ترتیب دارای همبستگی 95/0 و 97/0 می باشند (05/0 >P). براساس نتایج به دست آمده، روش پیشنهادی دارای همبستگی بالایی در اندازه گیری زوایای لوردوز کمری و کیفوز پشتی در مقایسه با روش خط کش منعطف می باشد، بنابراین می توان از روش پیشنهادی به عنوان یک روش با دقت بالا در کنار سایر روش های غیرتهاجمی استفاده کرد.
